Is your child struggling with any of the following?
Over the past several years, I have had the privilege of helping hundreds of kids all across Kansas with their ADHD symptoms.
The KEY is to DIG for the root cause! In our clinic we have a saying... "We Don't Guess... We Test!"
We look at FOODS! We look at NUTRIENTS! We look at TOXICITIES! We don't have a one size fits all cookie cutter approach.
This is what separates us from other clinic out there. Most will simply throw a medication at the symptoms. We come at things from a NATURAL approach.
ADHD -
Sensitivities, Deficiencies, Toxicities
ADHD is a brain disorder usually diagnosed by a pediatrician or psychologist. It is characterized by inability to concentrate, restlessness, and impulsiveness. This may FIRST be reported by teachers or parents.
There is no single cause of ADHD. However, current scientific research suggests the effects of many underlying causes.
Causes such as food sensitivities, gut dysfunction, nutrient deficiencies, heavy metal toxicities, low protein, high carb diets, mineral imbalances, etc.
These are the most common symptoms of ADHD:
As mentioned above, we are going to dig to find the root cause. Each patient is unique and we need to explore to find the root cause.
We may look at food sensitivities/intolerances to reduce inflammation.
We may check for vitamin/nutrient deficiencies.
FOOD TESTING is one key component. When you find and fix the root cause, the results are remarkable! Since there is a STRONG correlation between gut health and ADHD, by removing sensitivities/intolerances, we are able to give the DIGESTIVE SYSTEM a break.
Through testing and elimination, we are also able to give the IMMUNE SYSTEM a break... ultimately we are testing the immune system. Perhaps THE most important aspect of food testing is we are able to reduce INFLAMMATION and more specifically inflammation in the BRAIN!
During the initial visit with Dr. Naomi, there will be a detailed history taken along with a consultation. From there, she will determine if you are a case she can accept or not. Sometimes a referral is needed to another healthcare provider. From there, she will recommend an exam and potentially further testing.
Generally speaking, most insurances do not pay for alternative/functional medicine testing type of services. They will pay for your drugs and medication, but will not pay to dig, find, and fix the root cause of the problem.
Dr. Naomi will determine if subsequent visits will be beneficial for your case. She may put you on a protocol consisting of supplementation/ dietary changes, which may or may not need a lot of follow up visits.
There may be a few products to take, but it will not be overwhelming or confusing. We also offer products that are in a liquid or powder form for those who cannot swallow pills.
Absolutely! Our programs are safe and natural.
